Folders and Project Filters

Filters

Use filters on the top right to quickly narrow down your project view.

Filter by creator

Click Creator and choose the team member whose projects you want to view. The page will immediately update to show only projects owned by that person.

Filter by project status

Next to the creator filter, click Status to filter projects by Draft, Active, or Inactive. This helps you focus on the projects that matter right now.

Folders

Folders help you keep your workspace tidy and neatly grouped.

Creating a folder

  1. Click All Projects on the top left corner.

  2. Select Create new folder.

  3. Give your folder a name.

  4. Click Add projects, choose the relevant projects from the list, and click Add Projects.
Your selected projects are now stored together under the new folder.

Navigating to an existing folder

From the All Projects dropdown, scroll to find the folder you want to access and click on it. You will immediately be taken to that folder's view.

Project Duplications

Overview

Easily replicate existing projects using the Project Duplication feature. This capability lets you copy an entire project’s structure and settings in a single click, saving time when creating similar AI Moderated Interviews, Usability Studies, or Surveys.

Step 1: Locate the Project to Duplicate

Begin by identifying the project you wish to duplicate from your dashboard. You can duplicate any published or draft project, regardless of its type.

Step 2: Use the Duplicate Feature

Once you’ve identified the project, click the Menu icon and select Duplicate Project. Genway will immediately create an identical copy of the project.

The duplicated version retains:

  • All settings and configurations from the original project.

  • Project structure, including sections, AI Agent settings, guidelines, recruitment settings and interview configurations.

The duplicate is automatically placed in Draft Mode, allowing you to review and customize before publishing.

Step 3: Customize the Duplicated Project

  • Update project name, objectives, and guidelines.

  • Modify AI Agent behavior and tone.

  • Adjust participant settings or recruitment options.

  • Redesign the landing page or visuals.

Important: The duplicated project will not contain any interview data, responses, or participant information - it’s a clean slate ready for reuse.

Independence of Projects

Duplicated projects are completely independent from their originals. Updates made to one will not affect the other.

This independence ensures flexibility - ideal for testing variations, running localized versions, or adapting a study to new audiences.

Enjoy the Efficiency

Project duplication saves valuable setup time, reduces repetitive work, and helps maintain consistency across multiple projects.

It’s a simple yet powerful feature designed for efficiency, scalability, and flexibility in your AI Moderated workflows.
