Overview

The Recruitment step is where you bring participants into your AI moderated study. You can recruit directly from the Genway Consumer Panel for fast, targeted access to verified participants, or invite your own audience using a custom-branded landing page. This stage ensures you reach the right people for your research - whether you’re testing a new product, exploring user behavior, or gathering feedback from a specific segment. Thoughtful recruitment is key to reliable insights, helping your AI moderated interviews, surveys, or usability sessions deliver meaningful and actionable results.

Option 1: Recruit Participants on Your Own

  1. Publish and Get a Shareable Link: After you publish your project, Genway generates a unique interview link. Share this link across your preferred research platforms - such as email, Slack, or social media. When participants click the link, they’ll be automatically directed to the Interview Lobby to begin their session.

  1. Add a Redirect Link: You can set a redirect URL to guide participants to a specific webpage after their interview - such as a thank-you page, post-survey form, or follow-up scheduling link.

  2. Use Participant Identifiers: You can include a participant ID or custom identifier to help track participant data and link responses to external databases or CRM systems.

Option 2: Recruit from Genway’s Panel

⚠️ Genway provides access to a consumer panel for participant recruitment. If your project targets B2B audiences, these panels can be supplied as a managed service by Genway or recruited independently by your team.

  1. Select Number of Participants: Choose how many participants you want Genway to recruit for this project. Once published, this number is deducted from your plan’s quota - even if the project is paused later.

  2. Describe Your Project to Participants: Provide a clear and engaging project description. This helps participants understand what the AI Moderated Interview is about and ensures better engagement during the session.

  3. Apply Screening Criteria: Narrow your participant pool using filters such as employment, education, demographics, technology use, and more. For example, if you’re studying viewing habits of graduate students, set your education criteria to Graduate or Doctorate level.

  4. Monitor Recruitment Efficiency: Be mindful that highly specific screening criteria may increase recruitment time or limit the number of eligible participants.

  5. Automatic Recruitment Matching: Genway will automatically identify and invite participants who meet your defined criteria, ensuring that only qualified participants join your project.

⚠️ Once published, the number of participants you selected will be deducted from your plan, even if you pause the project.

In both options, you can attach a Participant ID for tracking purposes.
