This article applies to all project types. Camera access and language selection are not yet supported in AI Moderated Surveys.

Configuration Options

  1. Authentication: Choose between no authentication, Google login, or a custom identifier (e.g., Instagram handle or work email).

  2. Interview Length: Choose between 10–20 minutes (15 minutes recommended as default).

  3. Languages: Select supported languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, etc.).

If multiple languages are chosen, the AI Agent will automatically match the participant’s device language. If there’s no match and English is among the selected languages, the AI Agent will default to English. If English is not included, the AI Agent will use the first language listed in your selection.
Rest assured, all responses will be translated into English.

  4. Interview Mode: Choose from Talking, Typing, or Hybrid mode. Talking is recommended.

  5. Company Name: Customize how the AI Agent introduces itself (e.g., “Hi, I’m your Netflix Research Agent.”)

  6. Interview Limit: Set a maximum number of interviews to be conducted.
If you choose to recruit participants through Genway panel, the interview limit will automatically adjust to the lower value between the limit set in the Settings tab and the number of participants specified in the Share tab.

  7. Project Description: Add internal notes for you and your team.

  8. Follow-up Option: Allow participants to opt in for a future interview.
If follow-ups are enabled, you can access the list of participants who agreed to a follow-up from the Analysis page. To download their details, navigate to Menu → Export Project → Export Participant Information.

  9. Camera Access: Require camera use for interviews if desired.

  10. Priority Level: Set an internal project priority.

Design the Interview Landing Page

Customize your interview’s landing page with branding, colors, and background images, all previewed live in your Sandbox environment.

When recruiting your own participants, it’s best to use your company’s branding to build trust and consistency. When recruiting from the Genway Panel, many teams prefer using neutral branding to maintain a balanced and unbiased participant experience.

Customization Options

  • Add your company logo

  • Select Screen Colors

  • Upload an image a background image for the interview screen.

  • All updates are previewed live in your Sandbox Environment.
